Bahamas Surf Breaks -- Details

WILLIWAW -- Guana Cay
A super fun surf spot close to shore off of Guana Cay's main ocean beach. The wave breaks best at small to mid-sized surf on a flat rock ledge reef, both rights and lefts. Great spot for beginners with the smooth rock/sand bottom, can also get hollow on the right days. Facing NE, the conditions are best on winds from SE through NW. Please help keep the beach clean in the area around the surf shack!

GARBANZOS -- Elbow Cay
The most consistent break on Elbow Cay, Garbanzo's has a SE orientation that picks up swells from N through S, winds are best from WSW to N. Rights and lefts. Gnarly entry and exit over sharp reef, especially at low tide. Watch out for strong currents to the S when the swell is up and with onshore winds.

SURFER'S BEACH -- Eleuthera
The most well-known and consistent surf spot in the Bahamas, the wave at Surfer's Beach is generally friendly and not super-critical but can get good and hollow on the right days. Mostly lefts with a few rights. Good scene on the beach around the surf shack, great for shelling, snorkelling and swimming too.
